Quiet in here. Music to scrub the pot to.
G'morning all. I'm off to the shop in a bit to work on the bookcase project. Meantime... I'll just pour myself a crucible full of coffee.

Dang it people!!!!
When we hatched this scheme to re-open the Pub... or some semblance of it... I thought we agreed to be more selective about who was allowed in. I remember specifically saying: no one from Hell who talks funny and pollutes the Bilge with non-Bilge topics (like boats!!!).
OTOH... he does come bearing bacon. OK... nevermind! <G>

Im in sticker shock & project overwhelm but I'm slowly adjusting. Kind of hard not to when I'm on the boat looking out on the water with Smiley by my side.
I learned that smiley gets less anxious on the boat when I bring marrow bones! :-)
Ok, enuf about boating! Well, maybe a little bit will be allowed? The pub's supposed to allow us to decompress, so in my world right now, that includes much needed boat-venting. Hope u guys will allow an occasional de-stress session. :-)
That's it, Bobby!
A friend of mine made the metal sculpture of the guy at the table.
Another friend owns the place.
It's where I go when I need a big dose of feral politics and other homespun ignorance.
But I know all those ole coots in there who sit around the big "table of wisdom" as they call it and they know me.
The table top is covered with burned in names of dead ole coots.
Pretty damn soon my name will be branded on that table!![]()
Mornin' all. Eggs for breakfast?
Paul, I do believe that when RodB isn't posting on this forum he works on building boats.
Just sayin'.
We don't know how lucky we are....
Thanks, Bobby!
I'll take the bottle in the middle first just to get rid of it, then the bottle on the right, and the bottle on the left for a midnight snack...heck, it's almost Saturday night in Texas.
I do hope all the jukebox players show up tonight so I don't get lonesome out here on the bald arsed prairie!![]()
Just talked to Lefty on the phone and he gave this place his blessings, to my relief!
He also gave me Amber and her cousins, Topaz, Ruby, and Jett, along with the pool table from his old Pub.
Things are looking up!
Now, if we could get some music going on in here we could have a proper Saturday night.\
It's Lefty's Pub!

Lefty is the man, no doubt.
Amber and her cousins, if they look anything like her, will help soften the blow of how cute some of you's ain't.
I've got an old neon beer sign I'll donate, and yes, part of it flickers, Bob.
There wasn't enough of the old pub mirror to save, pitty that.

That's right, but can we have a back alley with lots of metal trashcans, you know, for sound effects when we have to toss reprobates out?

This'll get your foot tapping.

Simpler is better, except when complicated looks really cool.
Sorta country, sorta not.
I wouldn't have any problem with Rawhide.
