Jimmy. I am scatterbrained right now, man. What's that kid's name you played, the one killing that Elvis song?

Man, I just can't remember and nor can I find it. Man, I just dug that clip...

    Peace,

Sorry, I went to bed last night. Did you mean this with Kingfish playing on Elvis' porch.

Christone Kingfish Ingram performs his song "Hell & High Water" on the front porch of the Elvis Presley Birthplace in Tupelo, Mississippi.

Man... I'm still yawning. Stayed up way too late reading & stuff. Is there any coffee left... or did that danged Kevin snarf it all?

Lots of errands to run today. Some sawdust to make at the shop. Ducks basketball game this evening I might turn on. Gotta figure out the new fiber-optic tv service. Haven't had an actual tv in years. And I keep threatening to make potatos au gratin... and bake some cookies or brownies. I think I'm gonna have to break down and buy a snow shovel, too. My meteorologist buddy says don't be surprised if this is a very snowy winter. Heck... it already IS for these parts.

Hope everybody has a great day! Here's another 'best of' --

I have that Tedeschi Trucks CD. It has gotten a lot of play.

I think this might be my favorite song on it.

Just got a directive from Tulsy to play something from Todd that'd probably just get me in trouble. So, instead, I'll play this --

It'd take some talking to get me back to Texas. I loved Austin... but that climate just wipes me out. Maybe at this time of year I could stand it... <G>

There is a show on Mississippi Public Radio called Thacker Mountain Radio. It comes on Thursday nights, but they replayed it tonight. The show tonight was broadcast from William Faulkner's home Rowan Oak and featured Maggie Koerner from New Orleans.

Kevin... yanno I had to blame someone. My default, of course, is to blame Tulsy. For everything. But that's a bit harder these days. <G>

    Coffee's brewed!
Bloody Marys are in Lefty's antique silver pitcher that he left behind in the cooler and wants me to ship to him but I never will because it's now Glen's silver pitcher.
That's what he gets for running out on us in a snit and leaving us with no Sunday Brunch on a Sunday like this one.
There's two kinds of men, those with a silver pitcher and those with no silver pitcher.
