I'll see you one Where it's at, and raise you a Wow. A popular song around here. We got those big, big house speakers and a couple hundred watts, so we can move some air!

This morning it's clearing out some cabinets to be salvaged... from a house that's about to be raised to have a full daylight basement tucked underneath. Then shop cleanup. Then two little boaty jobs. Have a good one, everyone!

Thanks, Glen. It is going to be different. I need to get rid of a lot of stuff and get everything else back to Mississippi. It is going to be a slow process.

Hi Peter that is a good one.
Well. I was searching for a whole other song called Rolling Home, but I found this, so I listened to it.
Um. Amazing. Totally great. I'm not Irish, but one of my best friends is (well, his whole family is), and I've done a bunch of drinking and singing with them. They are not from Dublin, though...
Anyway, I have got to learn this on the uke. It's a great song. Hope it finds you all well.
Tonight, I'm drinking the champagne of beers to celebrate our new derelict boat.
Oh, and my wife's oldest friend is in town.
Party on, Wayne!
Peace,
Robert

Did you get the boat home? Should be a fun project.
We planned for every contingency. And had an uneventful, in fact, pleasant day.
Except for a few wiring snafus, because I am, um, not smart, it was cake.
Peace,
Robert
Congratulations Jimmy.

I had a dream that I went to work and right at the end of the day, I remembered that was no longer an employee and wasn't supposed to be there. That isn't going to happen in real life.

I have watched two guys retire, one of my best buds, and my father in law.
Best bud got a dumb little side job at a shop he always wanted to work in, but couldn't afford to. You know the type of job. And, started a rock and roll band, and they have become fairly successful locally. He seems vibrant and is fun to be around.
My father in law turned into a crotchety old man over night. He's miserable because he don't do nothing, and he don't do nothing because he's miserable.
He's almost unbearable to even fish with.I kid, because I love the dude, but this is true.
Retirement is your freedom to do what you were waiting all those years for, so do it. Quick.
I hope your first week of retirement is wonderful.
And a little sunshine for everyone, because it froze here last night and I am still really cold.
Peace,
Robert
My last day to work was actually last Sunday. I've been using remaining days off since then. I will probably have to find a way to pick up some more money. I will be able to see much more live music. My friend Libby is the Public Relations director for the Mount Zion Memorial Fund, I let her know that I am willing to help them out. I also have soon other things that I hope to do. I haven't fished for years, will probably start doing that again along with more paddling through the cypress trees.
That is a talented young lady.
