Nice guitar piece, Glen. I still say the ladies play it better than the men.
And yes, I'd like one of those Shiner Bocks. I had a Shiner Light Blonde with dinner, and it wasn't up to par.

Must be the moon. Admired it with the 2 year old from the back deck. But neither of them wanted to go to sleep. Just now got everyone settled down. Way past my bedtime!

Got coffee, Bloody Marys, warm beef tamales.
A light spatter of rain started while I was out on the porch. We need an inch or two.
    Have a good day amigos!

Morning folks, back in the land of the living I think or I could be mistaken I guess. Glen those are some really pretty gals in that video and even if I could not make out the words it was a pleasure to watch. I hope Syed is well and all his loved ones. If he looks in may be he will have another recipe to share, the last one was a good one.

    Morning All,

    Tamales sound delish.

The gradkids were restless all night - so the adults didn't get enough sleep. Might have to take a nap after the kids pick them up. <yawn>

Speaking of recipes and Syed, I was reading Indian and Pakistani recipes for okra, it's called bhindi. They saute it with spices called masala and call the dish bhindi masala.
Next time Syed is around maybe he can give us some info.
I was surprised to see okra is popular there.

Hey Glen, I am glad to be here I think and damn glad you are here. The last recipe Syed posted was some kebobs and dang were they good. It is hard sometimes to find all the ingredients here in Red land but that is changing and I am glad for that.

I did take a nap after they got collected at noontime. Put me behind for tomorrow, but needed.

Looks like it was down for about 3-1/2 hours today, and it's still acting up. No use b!tchin' about it, though - it is a free service after all.

Does anyone know why the BYOB thread has 1,565 pages when I'm not logged in, and only 1,369 pages when I am logged in?

Don't really know, but could have something to do with settings for number of posts per page when logged in.
    I show 1565.

Maybe someone is awake by now, coffee is ready just now made a fresh pot. I was just thinking how as a youngun I would go to bed and pull the covers up over my head and I was in my safe place, nothing could get me there. Now it seems that all my demons are there waiting for me to be there.

71 is shorts and tee shirt and a cold drink in the shade weather.
