    3-wheel vehicles are inherently unstable, especially braking with a single front wheel and accelerating with a single rear wheel. The hugely wide rear track helps counter that. Smarter would be 4 wheels and a narrower track.

    Know anyone selling new 3-wheel off-road vehicles any more in the USA? They all went to 4-wheelers. Wonder why that was?

    Probably not what you had in mind, but three wheelers don't have to unstable or confined to tarmac.

    consent decree with the government because of many accidents, and a voluntary industry wide agreement not to for those not bound by the decree
