Hi Fred, at least it is not that killer heat this month usually brings. On a normal for us year all the grass would be brown and small pants would be wilting away. Then a late September rain would green things up for frost time.

Just got a fine hair cut, wife has been doing this for at least ten years now. Took a shower to wash all that itchy hair off. I was beginning to look like a woolly sheep in need of shearing.

I'm in, Glen. Had a great day at the lake and it was good seeing the fellows. They were so glad to see me, they didn't complain about the repeated drubbings I dished out.

I am getting concerned about my Friend Larry. I talked to him Monday and he seemed good but his wife and him are in kinda bad health. Tried to call him today and left a message for him to call. The only time we don't talk every day is on the weekends when his son comes and takes him to buy what he needs for the week. Just strange.

Me 3 on hoping Larry's alright. And I'll drink a free beer anytime.

Yesterday Shawn got in the mood for goulash so she looked up a recipe online and ordered the fixing to go with the ground beef we had. Hours later the order arrives and she starts cooking. (One pot wonders are the thing here lately.) She looked up the recipe again and must have backed up a page too far, it had stuff she didn't order like beans, corn and such. Got it all together and realized it was a recipe for sucotash. So it was goulatash. And I have to say, it was tremendous.

When doing the one pot pot thing Remember the saying in the service, improvise, adapt and over come. If you put stuff in it you like and season it good it will turn out good. Unless you burn it.

Too funny, Fred. She's proven to be quite adept at kitchen improv, and fearless. The cool part is, 9 out of 10 times she lands on her feet and it's quite good.

    Cool Re: Byob !!!!!!

I smell like paint and have some in my hair.
White paint, white hair, you can hardly tell.
A shower and a bed sound pretty good right now.

Morning all, made it till thunder woke me at 1:00 tried to go back to sleep. When something like that wakes me my mind goes into survival mode. I can't just lay there and pretend nothing happened. I need to check for damages and see if there was any injuries. I know I am crazy but I am just what I am a product of past events that just will not go away. So I get up to stop that thought process.

Good morning to all. Hope your yesterday was a good one. Glen, you dig up
Some good music, Sir. I am not familiar with Gabby Moreno, but I listened to some of her stuff out there on the youtube and she is enjoyable to hear. You can’t not smile when you watch Dos Rosas, and well, that was a classic from Old Jerry Jeff yesterday. Good stuff. Hope everyone has a good day today.

Yes Sir! Glad for the week’s end. Yesterday was our Anniversary, so we are venturing out for an early dinner, right after work. The place has removed half their seating, and it is a quite small place anyway, so I think we will be OK. Not a rowdy crowd type of restaurant... We had our weekly Dancin’ lesson last night, masks required.... our instructor is quite nice, and patient, so it’s alway fun. Trying to polish up our two step, Texas shuffle, and a bit of single swing. Maybe someday we will get to get back to some little dance hall down in TX...... not any time soon, I reckon.

I'm ready for that Shiners, Bobby.
We met our grand daughter and grandson at 8AM at the garden. She turned 21 today and wanted to get together with us for kolaches and donuts. She is a treat...in her last year of college.
The grandson starts college next week.
