Morning all you guys, Right after I posted I took off to tend my chickens and fart around in my shop. Well that cold stuff was just moving in as I went up there the wind was swirling around and change was coming. As I stepped out of my shop I was blasted by a very cold north wind. I think there is only one fence between here and the north pole and it is down.

Morning All -- Well, I managed to bake (broil, really) them cookies. So it was cookies and milk for dinner. Cookies & coffee for breakfast. Milk is healthy, right?

Gman, ever since I read that post I been scratching my head and wondering why when you discovered it was on broil you did not just change the setting to bake? don't those Oregone fire pits have different settings on them.

I did, but I'd already cooked two sheets worth on the top rack. What finally clued me was that the bottom rack was taking for bloody ever. (it was shielded by the top cookie-sheet all that time). So I switched over for the final batch. (and then overcooked 'em, but that was just me getting caught up in the Blazer's game...

See all that sports stuff is not good for you, at least if you was hitting the Tequila you would have had a real excuse. Just ask Pless if you don't believe me.

Is Pless recovered enough from the ta-kill-ya and the 'bama loss to be coherent now?

Well I still remember this day back in 68, I have my brand new uniforms, and a haircut I will never forget or for give the barber for, and I had to pay 80 cents for it. As we were standing around rubbing our sheared heads a guy looks at me and says oh my god you was that dude with all that long curly hair. Day one of a time I wish was just a dream.

Sure is getting chilly here in Okieland, 19f and still going down they say. That is dang cold for November in Okla. I better make two pots of coffee. I have to be at the doc shop by nine so that means I will have to dig out a long sleeve shirt, I don't think this tee shirt will be enough.

I had to promise Scot that we'd do a better job of keeping the Tulsmanian Devil in line. Hopefully, he'll forget that promise, 'cause I have NO idea how we'd manage it <G>

You see the problem. As a group, we face the same issues pretty much across the board. The only one who might actually be called 'civilized' is Jimmy... and I think him being soft-spoken may be deceptive <G>

    January in November. Stuff it!

    Oh. Good evening, all.
I see your error. You need to line up a sweetie, stat. Younger, preferably... so she'll have lots of energy for shoveling... and making hot cocoa or Rum punches afterward <G>

When we lived in New Hampshire, there was one winter where I was working a ton of hours, often driving into Boston for a project. Just before she expected me home, my sweetie would shovel the driveway so I could get in, and she often did all the walks while she was at it. With a fresh baby in a backpack while she shoveled. She ain't no whimp. And she's as sweet as can be!! Just go find one like that! Problem solved!!

I saw the doctor today. She remarked that I had lost 10 pounds since last time that I was there. Almost all to riding my bike.
