    Morning All,

    Tamales sound delish.

The gradkids were restless all night - so the adults didn't get enough sleep. Might have to take a nap after the kids pick them up. <yawn>

Speaking of recipes and Syed, I was reading Indian and Pakistani recipes for okra, it's called bhindi. They saute it with spices called masala and call the dish bhindi masala.
Next time Syed is around maybe he can give us some info.
I was surprised to see okra is popular there.

Hey Glen, I am glad to be here I think and damn glad you are here. The last recipe Syed posted was some kebobs and dang were they good. It is hard sometimes to find all the ingredients here in Red land but that is changing and I am glad for that.

I did take a nap after they got collected at noontime. Put me behind for tomorrow, but needed.

Mr.G, I envy you. I still remember what it was like to have babies around. They bring so much life to us.

Don't really know, but could have something to do with settings for number of posts per page when logged in.
    I show 1565.

Maybe someone is awake by now, coffee is ready just now made a fresh pot. I was just thinking how as a youngun I would go to bed and pull the covers up over my head and I was in my safe place, nothing could get me there. Now it seems that all my demons are there waiting for me to be there.

71 is shorts and tee shirt and a cold drink in the shade weather.

Maybe you can adjust or just dress warmer. I don't know about the goofy thing, that seems like a compliment in comparison to what some call me.

I found some Texas beer here while back, I think the name was Frio it was like $15 for a thirty pack. It was pretty good for a cheap beer but I have never seen it in the stores again.

The ale isn't bad but the lager is better. And stronger. Shawn said there's a Trader Jo3s in Santa Cruz.
