Re: Byob !!!!!!
Okay, I made it through watching the Cowboys take another arse whupping for three hours, had steak and Corona.
Nobody ever said it was easy being tne oldest old coot patriarch of a wonderful family of Evangelical Christian Trumpistas!
I love them all more than they know, and more than they love me.
I scare them, but Trump does not! They trust the POS Trump more than they trust me.

Re: Byob !!!!!!
Forgive what? Ranting is good for you. It's important to get it out of your system, and often times healthier to do so in a calm, secluded hangout among sympathetic pals.
Next time you're outnumbered at a holiday gathering with loved ones, try a page out of my dad's playbook. He's a conservative in the true sense of the word, life long Red who married a loyal liberal catholic woman a few years back.
Last fathers day he had us kids, his brother and wife and their two daughters over for a family get together. Almost all of us are liberal leaning trumpf despisers. Dad's not a trump fan so much as a 'anyone but hillary' voter. After dinner my cousins (one from Oregone, the other an educated type from a university town in north Fl) tried pinning him down about supporting someone who's spent his whole life blatantly breaking the commandments. They were throwing punches I would ordinarily pull on him.
Knowing he was outnumbered, and getting grilled on topics he couldn't defend, he got quiet. Once he realized he was cornered, he stood at the head of the table like Frank Reagan and said, "Anybody want some pie"?!!
It worked. We went back to talking about new grandkids, great nephews and nieces and the nice weather out west.______________
Life is short, play with your cougar.Comment
