Corporate America speaks out

Huge number in NYT supporting voting rights. Chamber of Commerce is going in the opposite direction.

Will it have any impact? Unless they withhold campaign contributions?

Most of these corporations made campaign contributions to the racist Republicans who went on to pass this Georgia law. Not a peep till after citizen outrage bubbled up.

Some corporations contribute to both parties, access no matter who wins, but far more corporate money goes to Republicans.

Believing in corporate good faith is a challenge to which I cannot rise.

And a huge number are not. I suppose that corporations like individuals support the side that they think will support them.

I'm hoping the court hold our democracy together.

I do find it fascinating that GOP has no problem with the my pillow guy making political statements.
