Well that was exciting, sitting here minding my own business and this cancer thing decides I have too much blood I guess. I mean I had blood everywhere.
I finally got the bleeding stopped and washed all that blood off and cleaned the floor so no one could track me.

You've got pleanty of beer NOW... sure. But knock off that blood loss thing! You might need to seel that goop in order to buy beer later, doncha know...

Boy did I sleep when I finally fell fully out. Woke up and pushed some laundry... but I really need to get out and keep some things moving. Doesn't feel like it's gonna happen. I'm still erupting geysers of snot <sigh>

Some years ago I had a stint like that, I never had the nerve to pull that thing out you never know what it may be hooked to. Anyway the thing stopped up.
I called the doctor and he said come in now, he laid me on a bed and proceeded to pull that thing out. When it came out it gave the doc a shower. He just laughed and said you did need to go didn't you.

And in still other news... Lowe's was advertising a good quality DeWalt benchtop planer - #735 - for $80. Normally sells for more like $500 +. I became aware of it last night and placed an order. Got a confirmation for pickup today. Awoke to find it cancelled. But I got a text from Son2 this morning saying he'd ordered a bit earlier and had already picked his up this morning. Wondered if he should keep or sell. I said keep - it'll make a good backup for the bigger one.

I'm tentatively ready to declare myself 'on the mend'. I tried that earlier... and it turned out to be a cruel joke. But maybe...

The weather up here is trying its best to confuse. Coldest days that froze a water pipe that hadn't froze in 6 years, this week everything is melting . Driving my sinuses crazy. Been out buying 2x4's at $4 before they jack the prices up again. Maybe this year I can afford to build a shed for the garden tractors and get my shop back again! And as for all you calling each other old, I would like to point out that I believe we are all old pharts. Enjoy it, I don't think it gets any better than it is today! Wish you all the best days you can have....
