    I am still looking for one of those bronze centerboard winches (friction device) which Merriman used to make. I used to see them now and again, but haven't for quite some time. It will be used on a 25' Crosby catboat.

    Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

    Surprisingly, ABI list them. I haven't seen one, so don't know how well made it is. Some of their stuff is excellent, other stuff - er - not quite so excellent.
