Rumor has there is no 7% Goods & Services Tax on sandpaper that is used by hand or in hand held machines.I purchased $150 worth (life time supply) of industrial strength orbital paper from our wholesaler here at work, he never charged me the gst and said that was the law.

Early one morning I woke up to see a jeep running up and down the beach towing a water skier just offshore on a longline.
The Canadian army had a training area at Ipperwash, and on weekends they'd truck the whole lot into Grand Bend. We wound up behind one such convoy and one poor cadet's hat blew off and landed on the hood of our car. We snatched it up and at the Bend the guy was allowed to fall out and I gave him his hat back. In the next few minutes my little brother said '..why is that soldier kissing the ground so many times?'

a few years ago the natives took over the base and there was some tension, everyone stopped going to ipperwash. it's kinda nice this way. mostly deserted beaches and you can drive on the native area of kettlepoint but not north of there. we launch right off the beach.
