Try Shaw & Tenney...they have canoe seats in their catalog, maybe they'll have or know where to get them.

As far as I know, you can still buy the diamond-headed bolts that Old Town uses on their wood/canvas boats from Old Town Canoe.

    Bob,

I just got off the phone with Kelly at Old Town customer service (207) 827-5514. They have 4" diamond-head bolts @$1.75 each and 6" @ $2.15. They take credit cards and you can order them over the phone to be shipped straight to you. Most dealers aren't going to have them in stock anyway, so it's probably fastest to order them straight from the factory.

Another source, and a good resource for canoe restoration questions, is Bill Clements. His website is at www.boatbldr.com.

I, representing Shaw & Tenney, replied to a msg today that we don't have these bolts. I suggested they contact Rollin Thurlow at www.woodencanoes.com or to search the suppliers at www.wcha.org
