Well, Peter, the trikes are growing on me, and further research has shown me licensing a home built will be fairly painless, whereas building a special CAR is very tedious. Hehe.
I am about 92% sure I'm going to build a trike. Morganesque, because I like the style.

Still. This thread is like a dream, so instead of talking possible realities, how about a dream?
I found the first car I ever really WANTED, just yesterday.
    Oh.
I WANT this car. It is just cool, cool, cool, to me. Except I would never be able to fit in it. Maybe my adult sized go kart can attempt to emulate one of these rather than a GN?

    Peace,
    Robert

Rob, you need to find and look at a vintage Morgan in the flesh. They are very rudimentary.

I've seen a new one. The S and S powered one.

I never really liked the trikes, at all, really.
But, as part of my pedal car deal, I found a ton of schematics and info on them.
The only reason I fancied I could make one is the fact they're simpler than the pedal car I'm making.

Mostly, it's the idea of making the dumb thing. Well, and the cost of a real one.

Well, and my wife was with me when we saw the new one. Heck, SHE was the one who suggested if I got another welder, I might could make one.

Did I ever mention I am the luckiest person ever?

    Peace,
    Robert

The old ones are to ones to look at. I doubt there is any comparison, other than they have three wheels.

That is the factory redline on my 6 cylinder M5. Mine has been delimited, so will Rev higher if you aren't careful. I try not to over rev it due to the harmonics issues.

Take a ride in a 7200 rpm Austin Healey!
Was that a Sprite???? If so, pretty good for 4 banger 1275 cc, 100 HP tops. He romped on a whole pile of cars, including a 911.

No, looks like a 100-6, now I google further. Still, quite the action in that video!

While I was looking for a yurt for another thread,I found a couple of images that fit this thread.A three wheel Morgan with the memorable JAP engine.

Another vehicle from the same event;Colin Henwood's very special Austin.
