Search for "Cernobbio Maserati A6gcs Spider Frua 1955 Talbot Lago''.I would have said 1953.

Not sure where the Talbot Lago comes in- definitely a Maser.
The Lancia Fulvia must have been parked in Liverpool- someone has pinched the bumpers.

This what I wished my TD looked like, cycle guards, wires, roll bars green/black paint and aero screens.

Triumph Dolomite, the only car I can think of that was named after a rock.

    That's a 1934 model.

The Dolomites, also known as the "Pale Mountains", take their name from the carbonate rock dolomite, itself named for 18th-century French mineralogist Déodat Gratet de Dolomieu (1750–1801), who was the first to describe the mineral.[1]

But I do think it more likely the company had the mountain range in mind.

The mountains are named after the mineral. I wonder what they called them before the mineral got its name?

The Dolomites I remember were a smaller version of the 2000 and 2500 cc sedans . 1800cc or so, 4 doors ,sometime in the 70's.

Pretty impressive I thought. It just ate that Porsche like it was standing still...

(That is the same engine in John B's C-car. He needs to see this! My little car with a 427 will run like that and likely has more horsepower except it gets sideways in a second and scares me!)

I knew a guy awhile back that had an AH 100 that was in a high state of tune, which is a massive understatement. The thing ate wire wheels like they were going out of style, even one's off a Jag. I have no idea how he got so much out of the four banger, but he did. Engine life was short so he had two or three spares.

In my view the 100 was a hell of a lot nicer car than the later models. Much more refined lines.

Heh-heh- my 100 Healey used to eat wire wheels and it only had had the "factory" performance options, high compression pistons etc. That car would easily clean the clock on a new 3000, which they were still making then. I really liked that car, maroon with black wire wheels and Pirellis. I drove it across the country in the spring of '67 and abandoned it on the streets of San Francisco in 1968. You could buy a cherry used one for $700 bucks, I'll just get another - Damned Fool...

This was my "bible" in those days, with a lot of 100 Healy specific data and pictures

'Tis true, but who knows? Today I might be hoarding a wreck of an old car with no house to call my own.

It was a very nice car, lively, good handling by the standards of the time, comfortable and fun. Better in fact than the V12 E type that I did the same trip in a few months later.
