looking an old Chesapeake deadrise

I'm looking an old Cesapeake deadrise project to rebuild and use as a person coastal cruiser. I don't need any fishing equiment or high dollar electronics.
please keep an eye for me.

try the Calvert Marine Museum in Solomons MD or the Ches Bay Maritime Museum in St Michaels MD.

I'm sure they are offered semi-moribund deadrise boats quite often. Tell 'em you're interested in what they might hear about which don't fit their collections.

thanks I've sent them an email asking if they would keep an eye out for me...hopefully thay will let folks know. I've seen some examples floating around tangier Isl. but I'm afraid it was hualed away a couple of years ago, and burned to the water line.
