    I saw type of a canevas painted to put on deck plywood, any idea, where I can find it, how to apply it does it last ?

    I have canvass decks - I bought the boat with them on and they have lasted 5 years now but are looking very tatty and letting in the water.

    They need to be kept hosed down regularly to have a long term lifespan - it would be much better to epoxy sheaf the decks if you're not concerned with originality

    Canvas decks when well painted will not let in water and will last usually at least 20 years.
    To install a canvas deck - use unshrunk, unbleached canvas duck. Lay it in wet paint, staple or tack the edges tight, then paint the canvas with canvas filler for a quick job or multiple coats of regular (oil based, marine grade) topside paint. Install trim to cover the tacked edges. Put a finish coat everything. This is long lasting and simple installation.
