I've recently just started getting into the wonderful world of boat building. I was wondering if there was anywhere in the greater boston area where i could intern or apprentice to learn more.

The (town of) Hull Lifesaving Museum (?) may sponsor some boatbuilding course, or may be able to point you in the right direction. I'm pretty sure they've been involved in the Atlantic Challenge activities, http://www.atlanticchallenge.org
And Bill Clements is a builder in Billerica or Chelmsford (see WB ads section) who may also know about some courses in Eastern Mass.

Lowell's Boat Shop in Amesbury runs courses on baotbulding on a regular basis.

The Essex Shipbuilding Museum was going to offer a boatbuilding course this spring.

IYRS in Newport wouldn't be so far away, depending upon where in MA you live. WWW.iyrs.com
