Default One Sheet Caricature of Byrnes' Core Sound

I did it again. Won’t somebody stop me please. Here is the next one sheet boat:

It slightly resembles Graham Byrnes’ Core Sound designs (including the “butterfly” construction).

    LOA 7' 8"
    Beam 38"
    Beam on waterline 35"
    Centre depth 11"
    Draft 4 ”
    Displacement 220 lbs

If a butterfly flaps it's wings in the forest and nobody is there to hear it.... or something like that...

When do we get to see the full size version?

You have made me very curious now.
It looks like a nice "pocketsize"dinghy.

much sexier than a OSS, but that is some really tortured ply up by the bow, any plans to go full size?

I'm game. She is not so boxy or unattractive like most one sheets. How could one go about getting the line to layout? I'm assuming 1/4" ply?

It really doesn't look like anyone here is going to (or wants to) stop you. I personally love the idea of a one sheet boat and your designs are a good example of just how much you can do with only one sheet of plywood. You're getting some pretty fancy shapes out of the limited amount material. Keep it up and keep sharing your designs.

Other than being carved from a single sheet of plywood what is the purpose of this design?
Will it carry me from Wien to Gabs'ikovo?

Very nice! On first glance it reminded me of one of the greatest small boat designs of all times, the Frostply. Needs just a touch more freeboard/less beam... NOOO stop it.

On a more serious note (as far as one sheet boat design can be considered a serious field), what I like about your little peapod boat is that you don't have a transom dragging. Could these super efficient layouts produce a more rockered boat with a transom, while still keeping the length?

    Cheers, Thomas

    Wonderful work !!!!!

Here's a half baked thought, TwoSheet Double Ended Boats, symmetrical about a midship bulkhead. When, if ever, is such symmetry appropriate and what engineering challenges would it pose?

It would be great scaled up to fit a 10th x 5 sheet?
Also can i put a request for a two sheet 12 x 4" beam double ender?
Three strakes top two about 8" bottom one 8" at bow and 24" midship.
I cannot find such a design!?
