Was wondering if others were interested in boatbuilding or wooden boats in South Ga. area? I live in Adel, Ga.

You may try Robb White and Sons Inc. of Thomasville, Georgia.

He writes quite a bit in "Messing About in Boats" magazine, which I highly reccommend. He is a wooden boatbuilder, and by the tone of his writing quite the curmudgeon. Example: he "says" that he likes to shoot PWC riders with his slingshot!! Whether or not this is true you will have to find out yourself.

    Fair winds and following seas.

May want to check out Tom Lang in Augusta GA. He restores antique and classic boats and is currently working on a Gar Wood project. His web site is: http://members.tripod.com/rustnrot/
