This forum really isn't the best place for good grooming tips. We do do health and safety though.........when attempting to iron flammable clothing with a household utensil that is not normally an iron, ensure a fire extinguisher is close to hand.
We don't know how lucky we are....

Blaming the shirt is only denying the problem.

    You need a label maker.

Sounds problematical, however a sauce pan works pretty well.

You can make toast with an iron!

Well, of course you can. What else would a person use when there's ironing going on?

I was in a hurry, and grabbed the box, pulled it out and actually plugged it in to heat, while I curled my hair. Lord knows what my hair would look like in a reverse universe!

You can iron a shirt with a toaster, just stick a smooth stone in it, and iron your shirt with that. I tried drying pants in a toaster oven, that did not go as planned.

(As a side note, I made a workshop "Cooking without kitchen" which featured grilling a burger on an upturned iron, baking an egg on the heater plate of a coffee pot, while preparing couscous in the pot, cooking vegetables in the water cooker with a taped on button, and roasting something with a paint burner).
If at first you fail, you need to expand your sample size.

I think Mezcal must make your hair curly. I just wash mine and shake the water out like my dog does and I got the curlies. Hope this helps. If ya talk to Sophie tell her hi from me.
