I'm not surprised, neither is the earth, is it?
I am surprised that they thought that it's shape varied, though - that doesn't seem intuitive to me.

Neither is a cotton ball, which is what I was always taught that the sun resembled in form....

The key puzzle is why it is more spherical than it should be. I'm rereading a Brief History of Time, and Hawking comments that the sun was an oblate spheroid like the earth, so the flattening is not new knowledge.
It really is quite difficult to build an ugly wooden boat.

It is an entity. We are prone to it's moods. When the earth wobbled, it went down at October for a few days..Magnetic fields.Shh..( After 12/21/2012 I think the penguins will be in my yard.) Fishing will be interesting! They ARE catch and release, right??!! Do they taste like chicken?
