It rained more here this morning in ten minutes than its rained in the last two months. Monster thunder shower, knocked out the power for two hours... that sucked bigtime. When the lights go out in a chemical plant there is this collective groan, and then the unspoken group thought, "Gonna be a long day..."

    Cheers,

    Bobby

I've had to mow twice a week since mid April just to keep up enough to keep the ticks from getting a head start half way up my legs....

When I read the thread title, I thought I was going to learn something about plumbing, whatever a hard drain in the shower stall might be.

And I thought we might be learning about some old mason building a stone-faced outdoor shower, with the greywater running first through pebbles etc. before going into a wetland-like set of natural sluices to clean it before discharge...

I actually have an old grey-water sump (full of rocks and brick bats) out in front of the shop... I know it's there but the old drain to it has been sealed off for years. Mom had her old ringer washer out there

Geez. I didn't mow from the 6th of July until Monday. When are you gonna send some of that "so-called" rain up here?
