    We have three wonderful dogs.

    All 'rescue(d)' dogs.

    Contact your local pet shelter, I'm sure there is a candidate there to capture your heart.

    Sorry to hear about your dog. Mine is on into his final days and he doesn't even know it. Just sits there wagging his tail making the best of it ignoring all of his ailments. He's 13. Almost totally blind and deaf. Still works as hard at trying to be the best. Survived a cancer a year ago that took almost all of the end of his nose to where he now looks more like a big jawed boxer than a pit bull. This one will likely be my last.

    The cat knows something is up. He lays near the dog now, where he would have nothing to do with him before.

    Very sorry for your loss. My condolences to you and your family. I'm most sure your best buddy had the best of life with you and yours. Just a tough thing to have to go through when they have to leave us......

    Sorry to hear of this .

    When our Lab passed i was struck with how i knew him and he knew us.

    By his bark we could tell if a Person was at the door or a critter..

    Was better for us in that the 2 boys and me shared him so he was always on a "sleepover" party.

    Only the First Son had the courage to bring him to the Vet for the last time
