She lived well.

It's never easy, we lost one recently. Condolences.
RIP, Red.
13 years is a great 'innings', but is still does not compensate for the loss. Commiserations.
Hope you soon find another 4-legged friend.
We have three wonderful dogs.

It is always somewhat sad to outlive a good friend.
Complicated problems usually have simple solutions - which are almost always wrong.
Sorry to hear this, Donn. My condolences.

It's always easier to post first as no one has beaten me to the sentiments. As is, I can't say more that others have already written. Therefore, I'll just add my sympathies Donn et al

Been worried when we did not get any updates on her condition. Don't have any words to add, you and she are in my thoughts and prayers.
A life well lived.

My condolences Donn.
Time spent in a garden is never wasted.
Sorry to hear about your dog. Mine is on into his final days and he doesn't even know it. Just sits there wagging his tail making the best of it ignoring all of his ailments. He's 13. Almost totally blind and deaf. Still works as hard at trying to be the best. Survived a cancer a year ago that took almost all of the end of his nose to where he now looks more like a big jawed boxer than a pit bull. This one will likely be my last.
The cat knows something is up. He lays near the dog now, where he would have nothing to do with him before.
Sorry to hear it Donn. We know they are mortal, but it always comes as a shock.

Sorry to hear of this .
When our Lab passed i was struck with how i knew him and he knew us.
By his bark we could tell if a Person was at the door or a critter..
Was better for us in that the 2 boys and me shared him so he was always on a "sleepover" party.
Only the First Son had the courage to bring him to the Vet for the last time
