The time has come for Donna and I to say goodbye to the Gypsy
lifestyle we have enjoyed for the last 9+ years.
Tomorrow we are to close on a house, and the driveway is not big
enough for the house on wheels we have called home.

She is to start school in the fall, and when she is done, we will
re-evalueate life then and decide if we want to wander
again...............

This is about as strange as when we bought the MH and sold the house!
I may need a refresher course in cutting the lawn

We almost bought an RV last weekend, need another toy like I need a hole in the head. We have a little trip coming up and thought an RV would be cool, thankfully, for our wallet, we reconsidered.

We almost bought an RV last weekend, we reconsidered.

I am sooo sorry.... Donna and I bought the MH and started this adventure over 9
years ago....sold the house about 14 months after that.......

absolutely, positively, no regrets...........

We have met so many fasinating people, seen so many amazing things
and experianced soo much in these short 9 yrs. that I ache having them
come to a close......but life goes on.

One of the hardest things I have ever done was embark on this lifestyle,
closely followed by leaving it.

Problem isn't with RVing, it's with that specific RV (older, slightly too big, and had mech. issues) and the fact SWMBO was uncomfortable because it didn't have proper tie down spots for the child seats. And we needed it yesterday.

We'll get one one day. One that fits our (perceived) needs a little better.

As I said, though, best to you and yours as you settle down. Just don't become sedentary...

LisaS brought her pop-up camper one year, and it was a huge hit.... It only took about a half gallon of bleach, and a few buckets of warm water to get most of the blood splatter cleaned up.....
