Rainy summer and Olympic event changes?
Sebastian Coe of the London Olympic Organizing Committee (?) http://www.reuters.com/article/2012/...IH2UI20120717:
"We've got the contingency of extra days available to us in rowing and in equestrian sports, as a last resort of course," he declared. "We've got an alternate sailing course available to us at Weymouth and of course we've got the famous roof at Wimbledon."
Why would rowing and sailing schedules or locations need changing because of a lot of rain? Are the rowing and sailing sites environmentally sensitive in some way, as suggested in the Reuters article? I'm just wondering...
“So we beat on, boats against the current, borne back ceaselessly into the past.”
