Default Looking for parts for a 1965 Towmotor forklift

Okay, this question is not about religion, or guns, or politics, and I'm afraid that I'm not going to post a photo of a cutie in a bikini either. Really boring for the bilge, I know....

Anyway, I've got a 1965 Towmotor forklift (model 462SG4024). It's seen a hard life and needs a few parts, the most important of which is a master brake cylinder. Right now the only way to stop it is with the parking brake! Any suggestions?

    Thanks,
    Garth

PS If I get some good answers (good answers, not 'bilge good') answers, I'll post some cool photos....

So, can you rebuild the Master cylinder? Is that a good answer? Don't you hate it when someone answers a question with a question? Pics please.

I'm afraid that the original master cylinder is long gone, so no rebuild is possible. I haven't called Cat yet, but will.

Here is an exploded diagram from the manual.

For some reason the image didn't work in the usual way. I think it has something to do with how Google+ does things. Anyway, put the link into a browser window and it should come up.

    Thanks,
    Garth

If you don't have a master cylinder maybe you could just make one fit. Unless you want everything original.

you know, there's a real shortage of forklift bikini pics on the web. As a matter of fact these are the only ones that I can find. . .

Forklift repair is what I do for a living. I may just have one that will fit. Give me a day or two.

If you have access to a NAPA store go there. They serve lot more than just the passenger car trade.

And it is highly likely a fork truck master cylinder is identical to one used on some passenger car.

If you thought old woodenboaters were weird there's actually a forum dedicated to old forklifts. Seriously. . .

How about this one, I know yours has a screw top, but if memory serves, this will bolt up.

On the other hand, I think this is the exact one:

Did you find any distributor? I've also been looking for a couple of weeks now with little luck. Have you tried GCS Forklifts?
