    Supposably,as opposed to supposedly.
With regard(s) to, instead of regarding.

Looking at the use of awesome from a different point of view,it's my opinion that you may be missing some opportunities to get good deals from idiots.

    Bio,
Usually used to attempt to make something distasteful acceptable to the public in an effort to greenwash it.

Biosolids: what they call dried human waste when they want to spread it on fields next to your house.
Biomass: What they call every part of a tree when they want to strip the forest and burn everything to produce electricity.

The new head of NPR used the word "robust" 13 times in a 40 minute interview with Dianne R. We were listening in the shop and started keeping a tally....I wouldn't want to kill it, but maybe just tie it up and lock it in a closet for a while...

    Well, read carefully, please.
    "It's" is a contraction: It's the truth.
As I said, it's is not a possessive.
Not "The kitten washed it's paws." rather: "The kitten washed its paws."

These shouldn't be totally eliminated, but their use should be severly restricted:

Patriot (commonly used these days to describe anyone whose politics agree with those of the one using the term)

Hero (commonly used these days to describe anyone employed in any kind of non-governmental public service work or the military regardless of the person's actual conduct)

This world in arms is not spending money alone. It is spending the sweat of its laborers, the genius of its scientists, the hopes of its children.

    Two please:
"on a daily basis" - or indeed on any other basis.

and "technical" - when applied to any article of clothing.
Complicated problems usually have simple solutions - which are almost always wrong.

Walter Cronkite went a long way toward popularizing "Tall Ships" back when they assembled in NY Harbor in 1976. One would think he (a well-known sailor) would've known better.

Anything-gate has got to be the laziest use of language that the media uses.
