I put this in Google translate but they don't have a "New Zealand" option.

I'm guessing a Micra is a Nissan? As to the rest of it I'm floundering...

There's a "hurts like a SOB" in there somewhere it sounds.

Yeah , it was one of them little round nissan micra cars ,and the nanna lady driving it was ruthless. She fanged it off the lights and left me gasping for air. There might have been smoke coming off her CVT or whatever those things have behind or beside the motor, or that might have been my imagination... or perhaps it was just my vision clouding over as the red mist of competition enfolded my neurons and turned my ever precious ego into a bucket of peanutbutter.

Man, I hate it when Nana catches me sleeping at the line.

Of course if your Nana is Shirley Muldowney then maybe it's okay.

OK, I think I got it.

Some old lady, Nanna, driving a Nissan Micra, kicked your puny a$$ in a drag race and your excuse is you were driving your daughter's 'mirage thing'.

Now I have to decode 'mirage thing'...

I'm glad you guys are struggling... now I feel a little better

The mirage thing is a mitsubishi monobox which she had a minor crash in a few weeks ago. "The car(SUV) in front stopped suddenly" , which means she didn't see it , braked late and hit the towbar. That did a couple a thousand dollars of damage to her car and literally didn't scratch his. So then the car finally comes back from the dodgy panelbeaters ( I was away halfway to Fiji at the time) and it won't idle.
So I opened up the bonnet and scrabbled around in there.....The dang thing hasn't got an idle screw. All you can do is unclip and reclip wiring and sensors hoping for a connection issue. Anyway, I had to take it to work for a day while I was doing that and researching how the stupid thing works.

Now I'm driving my car ,I'm lookin out for that granny . I'll powershift into second and whup that micra's butt.

What do you guys call it then? Lots of carbs have ( oh wait.. thats , carburettor not carbohydrates I'm talking about) a slow idle and a fast idle screw but smaller units will just have one and a spring. SU's .. well, lets talk about somethin else.
This little fuelie has a throttle body and evidentally the ECU/PCM/Computer tells it what to do after reading the mass air flow meter and the O2 sensor on the exhaust . Doesn't seem to have a throttle relaxer like my LS1 does but still... shirley it could have an idle screw.

    ah well, nuff idle conversation.

'screw' can be a euphemism, an 'idle screw' could, never mind...if one must explain one's joke then it wasn't funny. Apologies.
