Default Vinyl Ester resins - Derakane et al.

I've used these in the past for high-end slalom kayaks - you get a high performance laminate at a semi-reasonable price - But I have NO experience of their use as an adhesive.

Has anyone used them as timber adhesives? - Stitch and Glue? - Sheathing?
Complicated problems usually have simple solutions - which are almost always wrong.

I recently got into using vinylester (Atlac 850) for grp mould making as a skin coat & also for repairs on GRP boats.(forgive me for i have sinned)
The stuff uses peroxide catalyst & is as easy to use as polyester. Some people reckon the smell is worse, personally i find it not unpleasant!
It is obviously of higher performance than polyester but as to its suitability for sheathing i havent tried it!
