    Default A rare opportunity!

Lars Hendricksen is selling his 'Eva', a 1957 Pedersen and Thuesen Dragon that is a true marvel because of her ability to win major events on the world stage at her 'advanced' age. Lars calls her a 'rocketship' in his advert on the IDA site and he isn't kidding, as this boat continues to win at the highest levels against boats sailed by pros and just popped out of the moulds at Petticrows!

A funny comment also from his advert, when he lists his price it is 'as much money as I can get' for her. I thought that was amusingly honest.

If anyone out there wants what is truly one of the finest small racing keelboats in the world, the contact is larshendricksen@gmail.

Note: as a mark of reference I found another P&T Dragon for sale in the UK at $30K US. That boat looks to also be in very fine condition, but does not have quite the pedigree that 'Eva' does.

The Pedersen and Theusen boats are much sought after because (and I may get this a little wrong, but I think the idea is correct) they have a slightly longer waterline and were grandfathered in as legal for some reason. I know that the photos of the ones I have seen show a very well made and beautiful construction.
