So I tried to go fishin' yesterday. I was going to leave the cares and pulls of the work-a-day world behind. I lubed up my reel, brought a bucket to put some fish in, and headed for a spot on the rivershore to cast for a mess of perch. Low and behold when I got there, two guys were cutting down 2 white cedar trees. They hauled all the brush away and left the trunks, which were about 19 inches in diameter. They said the owner was gonna burn it for firewood. I can't let that happen.
I did however catch a good mess 'o perch, as well as 8 rockfish, 1 puppy drum, and a flounder. I only kept the perch.
