I'm not sure if Alaska listed above is designed for the cedar strip method wherein very thin strips are used with fiberglass sandwiching the wood, I believe she was designed for heavier duty strip-building with vertical fastening in the way of screws or dowels and epoxy on both sides sealing her up. She sure is well thought of. Lovely to boot. Oughtred lists strip building as an alternative construction method to his Acorns. Seems harder than just building a strip build designed boat.
