Outboard question

Hallo all,
I am building the "Compact" out board cruiser.

In the booklet the designer calls for either 2 "of the new class B machines" that will propell the boat with a speed between 10 and 12 mph,
or one "C Class engine" which will do from 9 to 10 mph.

Could anybody give me an idea what the designer is calling for, like th HP of the formentioned engines.

If not, please check my "DN Goodchild" building thread to have look and guestimate the recomanded, minimum/maximum power requirements.

Up to 35 cubic inches would be around 25 HP, seems OK with me.
