    Default If You had the choice. . .

    If you had the choice between a boat timber like larch, that I can buy for not to much money (4 euros for a lenghts of one metre by 150x 50 mm), and the, in the Netherlands all over available wood of the "Picea Abies" (which I can pick up for free) what would you do?
    Knowing that I'm building on a shoe string budget, and that every layer will get a good coat of epoxy.

    Please give me your honest opinion, and I promise I will never, ever bother you with that question again.

    That's about 3 bd ft. And in American dollars that larch is costing ~ $3.80 a board foot. That's a fair price for most planking stock here in the states. I wouldn't use spruce. . .
