    Default Planimeter Manual?

Does anyone have a manual that can be copied for a K&E #620015 planimeter? This seems to be measuring simple shapes ok using the base-line calibration. However the unit has adjustable pole and tracer arms which I am sure increase the flexibility, but I don't know how to use them.

Google is your friend. There are always K&E manuals for sale on eBay. IIRC, there are a few on line as well. A lot depends on the planimeter... compensating or not, metric or Imperial, or both, and so on. Most of the manuals are pretty much interchangeable, though. There are some tutorials on use on line as well. Google: "Planimeter" and off you go.

I did that for about an hour and the closest hit I got was an exchange on the "Boat Design" forum for a related model. Hence my post here. Both arms on this one are adjustable and I want to find out how to use that particular feature. Yes, I have often seen manuals on EBay but that was before I owned this particular model (Murphy's Law)

    Here's the home site: http://www.mccoys-kecatalogs.com/index.htm

There are other catalogs and manuals in there, as well as a complete listing of all K&E planimeter models.

Thanks to Bob Cleek! It even has a chapter on my specific model! I'd love to have a paper copy, but maybe if I can live backwards (like "The Once And Future King") I will eventually get comfortable with having only html :-) Thanks!
