Japanese Harley Davidson floats to British Columbia (Canada)

Just watched this on the news. A Harley Davidson has been found in a truck box on a beach in a remote part of British Columbia.
I think they are predicting a huge amount of loating debris to hit this summer, with some of the semisubmerged stuff arriving by fall. Millions of tons.

From the pictures I saw on the news it looked beyond repair, barnacles on the rims.

I should doubt that there'll be much in the way of remains amongst the debris after all this time at sea. Some bones perhaps.
But maybe another rash of feet in sneakers?

No, no. If the British hadn't voted against us, "American Columbia" would be ours too. No more nonsense, BC right to the fort at Astoria and everything between the river and the sea. It appears that HD is going to pay to have it rebuilt in Japan. A major advertising opportunity exploited. It will probably get lots of good press at a very low cost.

A little update. The owner has decided to donate the bike to the Harley Museum as a monument to all those who have died.
