    Very cool! I think anyone who lives near a beach eventually realizes the potential for sand casting. One version we used to do as kids was candles:

    When I was 12 I was sand casting FG hulls for sailing models up to 7ft. (Plug moulds) Got the idea from a visit to the GMH foundry with my step-dad. I discovered that I could paddle one that size, and my next was a 15ft ply and glass canoe. And there you go.

    BTW, video doesn't play for me.
