I think the question of scrutinising private adoption agencies has been raised before?

I wonder why she couldn't adopt an American kid.
Woman needs a damm sight more than just having to pay some child support.
A goal term for child abuse comes to mind, preferably in a cell block full of street kids.

I don't quite understand how that works... what are you talking about?
first read through tells me women get 400 and men get 1400... that doesn't make sense

If you are destitute- they will give "mommy" $400.00 for the child. If they take the NOW homeless child to YOU- you will get $1400.00 a month as a foster father. Why is a stranger more valuable than Mommy?WTH???Get it?

There's a hell of a lot of short and long term financial woes associated with being the primary carer of kids.
These STILL fall mainly on women.

I think welfare gives mom's $400/mnth to help look after a child, foster parents get $1,400 to look after the child (they're not 'paid' that much, AFAIK, because that has to go to the child's upkeep as well as to compensate the foster parent for their efforts).

The point is mostly spurious as the two aren't typically alternatives - i.e. most kids in the foster system aren't there because there parents lack income, they're there because the parents, for whatever reason, cannot look after them in a constructive way (i.e. are in jail or drug rehab, abuse them, are dead etc.).

NO. If you lose your home, from unemployment, YOU can live in your car, and work. YOUR CHILD cant. IF no family member comes and gives them a home, to go to school...They will PAY $1400.00, plus medicare and all for clothes.. PER child..bla bla more..Not for the parent. Only for strangers. Not Mom or Dad. SO what I am saying, is why a STRANGER that gets important enough to give $$ to, yet a family is NOT important enough to keep together? I can understand unfit parents. BUT can u really give $1400.00 to care for a loved child, to a stranger, , for their missing child? While the loving parent is PAYING support? Look into it.Homeless is a crime now.
