Well credit where credit is due, I bought the exact power unit that you suggested and I'm using a mirror per Norman for my IR trigger. My only slight concern now is if I may be heat damaging anything in the camera by leaving it powered for so long.You know that dude that comes down here and posts about needing camera help and brags about the view out his window. . .

Well it's either that or keep checking like I'm doing now. Double cockpit, barrel stern runabout went by an hour ago while I was on the dock. Waiting for them to come back.
