The person selected for this position will serve as a Carpenter (Marine) for the San Francisco Maritime National Historical Park in San Francisco, CA.
In this position you will assist journeyman Carpenter's aboard ships, on docks, and in shops which are open to the public with restoration, repair and maintenance work of the wooden components of historic ships.

Oh, what a bummer! Do I have to?"You will be required to continue education related to the sea, ships, equipment, methods, and nautical terminology associated with historic ships and their basic history and statistics."
