Does anyone know how to get a set of plans of Queen Anne's Shallop in the collection of the National Maritime Museum in the UK? Or for that matter the State Barge of Charles II at the Royal Naval Museum in Portsmouth?

I know that a reconstruction of the former was built a few years back called the Royal Thamesis.

    Thanks

Ben, Could you just write to the Admiralty?

Ben: If you write to the Director of either museum with your request, a secretary will route it to a curator of plans. The National Maritime Museum is in Greenwich. Sorry, I don't have the postal numbers, but your letters will get to such well known establishments without them. I have studied at both and found the people to be very helpful. It may take a while, but I anticipate you'll get answers.
