I have to build a cover for my motor well and have some teak ply that I would like to use in the assemble and am wondering if epoxy will adhere well to the teak surface or do I need to do some special prep of the surface?

Tooth it up .
I like a sawzall blade with a masking tape handle.
Use 403 fillers
Thanks, wanted to be sure before I used it.

Scuff it with #80 and wipe with isopropyl alcohol or acetone. If in doubt, visit the House O'Googe
teak ply is sometimes okuome or meranti on the back side.
Teak ply...... Are you checking to make sure that it's not cabinet grade interior plywood?
I've made a few things with Teak ply, including panels for the front door of a waterfront home. I tried to tell the boss (This was before I was the boss) that Teak ply was a bad idea for this application, but he was certain that the spar varnish finish would protect the door from the elements.
The door was replaced with-in 2 years. The panels peeled like a banana.
