About the time I fell in love with them, the whole danged family disappeared.

Quite honestly, Facebook is a far friendlier place than this. I don't meet so many ungenerous and narrow-minded people there as I do here.

I talked to MMike back around Christmas time. He's doing fine. I think he said he was getting his college credits bulked up so he could get his degree finally.

Sorry to hear of this Joe, Nice you buried him under a tree, Biggest regret was when Our Lab died was sending him off to the Dog Crematorium..

Next biggest mistake was I shouda done it rather then my son, Course it was his first dog and he wanted to but the first needle was not enough and it took 2 while he held "Buddy".

Shouda did what you did.

I'm always open to giving people the benefit of the doubt and besides facebook allows you to defriend someone

I'm not that easily offended except when someone rips on a part of what I (or anybody else) is about which nothing can be done. Even having people make exceptions for me to a general rule doesn't make me feel any better. Sort of makes it worse, actually. It was a shame because I liked him too. Ruined it for me.
