Yes, I intend to avoid icebergs.

Yes, I shall continue to reflect upon the entirely sucessful career of the RMS "OLYMPIC", known to her passengers and crew as "Old Reliable" from 1917, when, as a troopship, she first gained the nickname, to 1935, when she was scrapped.

So, my best friends grandmother and her parents were aboard that night. I have been very near a first hand account of what happened that evening and early day. I've loaded her Canadian three "export a" slicing cigarette machine as she told us to scram many times! She was peeved any time people came asking questions. We now know that they entered the lifeboat after being persuaded from a purser. They landed in the boat halfway to the water.
This is a shot of Titanic's lifeboats. She said the one in back was some sort of colaspable. And it didn t have any power and trhat's why the other one went back to tow it. The photos were shot in the morning from the deck of the RMS CARPATHIA

There was a very old man in Cooperstown who was a child on it. He died about 1995. He was a bit crusty. Personally, I sense that he never wanted to be asked to talk about it. Regarding two thing: never assume something is unsinkable and secondly, have ample life boats.
