Sport Wagons
Katherine and I are shopping for a new car. We want a car; SUV's, minivans, and crossovers need not apply.
This'll be Kat's commuter car (~25 miles), as well as our primary traveling car. Needs to be able to haul 'stuff' inside; plus canoes, kayaks, and bikes on top. We want to own it for while. Buying lightly used is attractive on some levels. We'd like AWD and the sportier the better. Need room for two large dogs.
I guess the default option is the Volvo XC70, but we're gonna go drive the BMW 328 wagon and the Audi A6 Avant as well. The AMG wagon at $95,000 is a little out of our price range. . .
I actually like the Volvo but wish it were available without all the body cladding so that it looked 'cleaner', like the previous model V70.
