Members seein some "land yatchs" flyin around the mud flats years ago out from Derby and had a yarn to one old fella about them and he and his son had apparently had a holiday in the States some years back and had been in awe over the ice boats a year or so later a bit of doodling and drawing trial and error and there they were...
zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzooooooooooom!!!His son he reckoned was a real speedfreek and kept increasing the length and size of the mast and sail! I mean that thing ...FLEW!!!
... well till it hit a bungarra and went a over t ... he did a spectacular flip though

Looked like a real hoot!but I had to return to work so when I returned the buggars were gone...
and thats the last I saw of land yatchs till the net now I even gots me some plans!! free courtesy of some site I wandered into
