thread display options SNAFU

As long as we're asking questions... what's up with the thread display option? When I select a "section" ('Building and Repair', 'Misc. Boat Related', etc..), the displayed threads are frequently limited to only those active, (or posted?) for the given day. I know how to change this display, but the thing is, it won't take. If I log out, or often even if I click out of that particular forum and then go back in, the display will have defaulted back to a single day's worth. This is... undesireable. Can anyone cure this ill?

I believe that's a new feature, and I agree that it's pretty annoying. I've tried to find a way to reset it to, say, "last week," but it seems that you ought to be able to set it to what you want and have it stay there. Presumably Scot will take notice, but I'll send him a note as well.
