Nice dead Funnel Web in the dogs drink bucket. All the wet weather seems to have them on the move.

Can I stretch that until I find something more appealing? There must be a lot of various coloured mice around and "the blue Trac stabiliser hydraulic hose fitting" doesn't quite have the correct ring to it, though "the blue busted shackle" at much the same distance isn't much better, nor "the blue 3 3/4 inch hole saw" or "the blue sticky note pad" - but if I look left, I could be "the blue mug" and we could be "the pair of mugs"!

It's just something I was told once. Friends had a pool that used to regularly have `dead' funnel webs in it and they'd been warned that they can stay `dormant' underwater for a long time.

By the way, your dog called to complain about you.

Yeah.... I pulled a live one out of the pool once.

Mate... my dog just got to chase and massacre the soccer ball for 10 minutes... he's sleeping it off now.

I think you are limited to your first choice.

But if not I have morphed to flannelette 150 year old huon pine section.

I've just spent 10 minutes carefully counting the growth rings and the section was 350 years old when the tree was cut.

I bought a really good light weight leather jacket from a bloke at a recent market. $8 for the jacket and $10 for a Record rebate plane. I'm wearing the jacket. It's black .

    The shiraz is Jacobs Creek.

I was down by the Tweed today and saw my favourite motor boat again. She's the kind of thing I'd be looking for but she might be a bit humble for Rob. About 30 or 32 feet I'd say.

She is a nice little boat Peter , yes , she would be good .
But I'd like to have something that I could sail , a motorsailer type.
That other boat is the other extreme , beautifully done , but wasted on me .
It needs a family to cruise it around the country or something , it would be awesome for that.
There is a boat out there for me , having a humble beginning , a fishing or lobster boat that has been designed to sail a bit , that I can troll and fish from.

    Some good photos there Rob.

Like the English translation as well.

Classic boat. Built in 1915 by Lyngør shipyard at Larvik, Norway. Main renovated in 2006 in the shipyard. Have sailed under blah. German & Schweizsist flag. A rarely offered & great vessel. Are approved for operation on all the World Garden. The ship is in good condition & fully equipped. New teak deck in 1999 & new engine in 1990 with 4000 hours of operation. Currently reside. Florence & eagerly awaiting its new owner. A good example of that adventure in the world, we must just go out & take hold of it! It did not come & knock on!

Rufus ,that's what I don't like about them. I spent one night under anchor years ago (I've mentioned before)in Princess Charlotte bay in FNQ.The other boat had a large superstructure and dragged horribly. I'd like to be able to reef and reefing a superstructure can't be done.

I don't see why you need a huge top structure just because you have a big engine .

Yes , google can turn up some horrendous translations rufustr .
The wheelhouse is aluminium , so it wouldn't be that heavy , but still the boat has a lot of sail , and high up , so they would be "interesting" in gusty winds.
I can just imagine laying the boat about like that when the old chook was in the hot tub , I don't think I'd be very popular !.
But at the end of the day , its just too big for me to be able to troll from on my own , probably , even motoring , it really needs a crew.
I reckon it would suit a family though .It is extreme broad , and there is quite a lot of room , for her length.
